Newfield School is a learning community; we work together in a creative way to provide a dynamic learning experience for all. We want our pupils/students to reach their full potential by following a learning programme that meets their individual needs. We want our young children to learn how to learn, to be articulate and to make a positive contribution so that they can take their places as active, thoughtful citizens of the 21st Century.
Preschool and Nursery
This section admits children of pre-school ages of 0-5 years. It is placed under the leadership of an experienced early childhood supervisor, assisted by a number of dedicated teachers with Montessori background.
This section also places so much emphasis on safety and comfort. Priority is given to individual contact to ensure that each child is guided into activities and learning experience appropriate for him/her. No undue emphasis is placed on formal academic work.
Primary
Newfield School at this level offers the widest possible range of subjects for each child and has a well-balanced curriculum. Character is developed and maintained in a happy yet disciplined atmosphere, necessary to provide the high standard of education manners, speech and moral principles, which will enable our pupils to take their place in the world as useful and responsible citizens.
